PMS

Premenstrual Syndrome

It has been estimated that nine in 10 women suffer from PMS symptoms, some with immobilizing pain. Don't let PMS pain render you inactive-- Chiropractic care can help.

Your Spine and PMS

The spine is the center of the nervous system which governs every cell, tissue and organ in your body. The nerves in the lower back that control the hormonal systems, can be damaged due to subluxation. Chiropractics can help with a variety of female health problems such as PMS and other gynecological conditions.

Effects

Effects of an improperly working nerve system, caused by an awkward position of the lower spinal bones, can be displayed in three ways

  • Over Active- Symptoms such as severe cramping or heavy bleeding.
  • Under Active- Including missed periods or infertility.
  • Distorted Activity- Cells that normally line the uterus, implant elsewhere causing bleeding, pain and reduced fertility.

An improper nervous system could be the cause of PMS symptoms.

The Natural Approach

Chiropractics cannot cure PMS, or any other health problem, but women who sought Chiropractic care for back distortions often report an overall improvement in their reproductive health. If the nervous system isn't functioning properly the effects are eveident throughout the entire body-- don't accept PMS as inevitable and untreatable without drugs. If nerve obstruction is to blame, Chiropractics can help treat the root of the problem.
